Ukraine is working closely with all partners to implement reforms, the head of government assured.
Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal met with representatives of the IMF mission and discussed with them the four-year financing program for Ukraine. The head of government announced this on Telegram on Monday, October 2.
“The first visit of an IMF mission to Ukraine in more than three years. We discussed the steps necessary to implement a four-year program with the Fund in the amount of $15.6 billion,” he wrote.
Shmygal assured that Ukraine is working closely with partners to carry out reforms. Work aimed at developing the economy also continues.
He told the representatives of the IMF mission about the main directions of the government, in particular, attracting investments, programs to support small and medium-sized enterprises, and public-private partnerships.

Let’s recall that on October 1, the IMF mission began meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, as well as with other key partners.
As you know, in March the IMF approved a four-year financing package for Ukraine worth $15.6 billion. In total, this year Ukraine has the opportunity to receive three tranches from the fund totaling $4.5 billion. On July 3, it became known that Ukraine received $890 million from the IMF. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities must implement a number of structural beacons to continue funding.
