Swedish partners also donated generators, transformers and other necessary equipment.

In August, Sweden transferred 25.2 million euros to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine, and also provided more than a thousand tons of equipment to restore the energy system. The Ministry of Energy announced this on September 28.

It was noted that among the energy equipment from Swedish partners are generators, transformers and other necessary equipment.

The department added that Deputy Minister of Energy Yaroslav Demchenkov and Svetlana Grinchuk met with representatives of the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine, where they discussed areas of cooperation to strengthen the stability of the Ukrainian energy system.

“During the meeting, it was noted that one of the important tools for balancing the energy system during the RAM is the import of electricity from European countries. Ukraine is counting on the decision of ENTSO-E to increase the capacity of interstate communications to 2 GW, “said the Ministry of Energy in a press release.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine received $2.3 billion from international partners for the restoration and protection of energy facilities.
