The American divisions of South Korean companies Hyundai Motor and Kia are recalling nearly 3.4 million vehicles due to the risk of engine compartment fires. This was reported by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
We’re talking about 1.64 million Hyundai cars, including the Genesis sports coupe, and 1.73 million Kia cars from 2010-2017.
It has been noted that leaking brake fluid in the anti-lock braking system can lead to a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire while driving or parking the vehicle.
Vehicle owners are advised to park their vehicles on the street away from residential buildings and other buildings.
