DTEK increased its electricity generation by 28% from May to August 2023 compared to the same period last year. This was reported on the company’s official telegram channel on Wednesday, September 27.
“The hot season is coming to an end, and we decided to remember how power engineers worked during this period. From May to August, DTEK’s thermal power plants increased their power supply by 28% compared to the same period in last year. In August, when due to the heat, consumption remained at record levels for the summer, electrical engineers generated 35% more electricity in the energy system than in August last year ,” the report said.
DTEK also noted that during 8 months of the year, its thermal power plants supplied about 9.9 billion kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the average consumption of about 3.3 million families in the year.
