From May to August, DTEK’s thermal power plants increased their power supply by 28% compared to the same period in last year. In August, when due to the heat, consumption remained at record levels for the summer, electrical engineers generated 35% more electricity in the energy system than in August last year ,” the report said.
DTEK also noted that during 8 months of the year, its thermal power plants supplied about 9.9 billion kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the average consumption of about 3.3 million families in the year.
