The average dollar exchange rate on the cash market rose to UAH 38.30, the euro exchange rate fell to UAH 41.05.
The hryvnia exchange rate has been falling against the dollar on the cash market for two consecutive days. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Tuesday, September 26.
Today, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks – to 38.30 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks – to 41.05 Hryvnia.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.80 UAH, a euro for 40.35 UAH.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today fell slightly and is now at 38.8724 hryvnia per euro (-0.0256 hryvnia).
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance expressed concern about the strong Hryvnia. After that, its rate started to decrease.
It was also learned that the National Bank sold a record volume of foreign currency in the interbank market in two weeks.
