The average dollar exchange rate immediately decreased by 25 kopecks – to 38.15 UAH, and the euro exchange rate fell by 20 kopecks – to 41.10 UAH.
The spot dollar rate accelerated its decline after a significant increase at the beginning of the week. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to market tracking data as of Friday, September 22.
This morning the average dollar exchange rate fell by 25 kopecks to 38.15 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 20 kopecks to 41.10 Hryvnia.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.65 UAH, a euro for 40.40 UAH.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today has significantly decreased and now stands at 38.8944 hryvnia per euro (-0.2450 hryvnia).
Let us remind you that at the beginning of this week the dollar exchange rate rose sharply, rising to a maximum of 38.60 Hryvnia. After that, the rate started to decrease.
As you know, a week ago the Ministry of Finance expressed concern about the strong Hryvnia. After that, its rate also started to decrease.
