The average dollar exchange rate in the cash market fell to UAH 38.40, and the euro exchange rate to UAH 41.30.
The hryvnia exchange rate continues to strengthen after a sharp decline at the beginning of the week. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Thursday, September 21.
So, the average dollar exchange rate fell by 10 kopecks – to 38.40 UAH, the euro exchange rate also decreased by 10 kopecks – to 41.30 UAH.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.90 UAH, a euro for 40.60 UAH.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro on September 21 was 39.1394 UAH per euro (-0.0146 UAH).
Let’s remember that a week ago the Ministry of Finance expressed concern about the strong Hryvnia. After that, its rate began to fall, and the National Bank was forced to sell the maximum amount of money in the interbank market.
