Proceeds from privatization next year are planned at UAH 4 billion, said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has prepared five properties for sale as part of a major privatization. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced this today, September 15, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
“I believe that today we have a developed, fairly effective privatization policy, and it, above all, is a tool for reducing the influence of the state. I support it in every possible way and I am convinced that next year the this element of small and large privatization in Ukraine, in principle, should end “, the Prime Minister said at a press conference.
The head of government did not name the objects prepared for privatization.
According to the draft state budget 2024, revenues from privatization next year are planned at UAH 4 billion.
Shmygal noted that this year revenues reached UAH 4 billion, and another UAH 600 million was received from rent.
“4 billion UAH is a huge profit from privatization during the war, considering that this privatization is small and moderate, there are no large privatizations,” added the prime minister.
We remind you that in the first quarter of this year, the State Property Fund got a record amount for 10 years. Logistics, trade, warehouse, alcohol and other assets were put up for auction.
In six months, the SPF got UAH 1.82 billion from the state budget.
