The average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine has risen to 38.25 hryvnia, and the euro is now worth 41.20 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate continues to decline in the cash market. Moreover, the euro rose in price more significantly than the dollar, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing market monitoring data on Thursday, September 14.
So, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks – to 38.25 Hryvnia, the euro rate increased by 15 kopecks – to 41.20 Hryvnia.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.75 Hryvnia, a euro for 40.50 Hryvnia.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official euro exchange rate on September 14 was 39.2674 hryvnia per euro (+0.0768 hryvnia).
Let’s remember that the Ministry of Finance is worried about the strong Hryvnia. They believe that now there are “no fundamental reasons” to strengthen the national currency.
It was also reported that last week the National Bank sold the lowest currency in three months.
