The average dollar exchange rate on the cash market increased to UAH 38.15, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 41.05.
The hryvnia became cheaper on the cash market for the second day in a row. The fall against the dollar accelerated, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing market monitoring data on Wednesday, September 13.
So, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks – to 38.15 UAH, and the euro exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks. – up to 41.05 UAH.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.63 Hryvnia, and a euro for 40.35 Hryvnia.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today has slightly decreased and is 39.1906 UAH per euro (-0.0073 UAH).
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Finance is concerned about the strong Hryvnia. They believe that currently there are no major reasons to strengthen the national currency.
It was also reported that last week the National Bank sold the lowest currency in three months.
