The hryvnia exchange rate fell slightly on the cash market against the dollar and the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Tuesday, September 12.

So, the average dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 38.05 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate also increased by 5 kopecks – to 41.00 Hryvnia.

In exchange offices they buy a dollar for an average of 37.50 Hryvnia, and a euro for 40.30 Hryvnia.

The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar has not changed since July 21 last year and is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today has slightly increased and is now 39.1979 hryvnia per euro (+0.0732 hryvnia).

Let us remind you that the Ministry of Finance is concerned about the strong Hryvnia. They believe that currently there are no major reasons to strengthen the national currency.

It was also reported that last week the National Bank sold the lowest currency in three months.
