In Ukraine, electricity consumption is gradually decreasing, which has made it possible to earn money from exports again.
Ukraine continues to export electricity to Europe, increasing volumes for the third day in a row. Ukrenergo reported this on Friday, September 8.
“There is no electricity import today. Export is being carried out to Slovakia and Moldova. The total volume is 6341 MWh, with a peak power of up to 398 MW at certain times,” the message said.
It also said that the maximum consumption of the night yesterday was 1.3% lower than the figure for September 6.
A planned maintenance campaign is underway at generation facilities.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said the power system would be operational this winter. Now preparations are underway for the heating season – from 60% to 80% of the work has been completed. Particular attention is paid to protecting equipment from possible shelling.
