The Prime Minister named the three main priorities of the state budget of Ukraine for the next year.
The Cabinet of Ministers will approve the draft state budget for 2024 on September 15. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting on Tuesday, September 5.

According to the head of the government, the state budget draft is in its final stage.
“Priority No. 1 – like this year – is the security and defense sector. Equipment, weapons, drones, missiles, shells – all this is very important for us,” said Shmyhal.
According to him, the second priority of the budget is the salary of doctors, teachers and social benefits.
“We are planning a two-stage increase in the minimum wage next year. We are setting the indexation of pensions, subsidies, assistance to IDPs and other payments will be financed,” the prime minister said.
According to Shmygal, the third priority is restoration.
“It is important for us to continue and complete the restoration projects that have already started, as well as start new ones. Russia will continue to attack civilian infrastructure, especially energy. Therefore, early recovery will remain with relationship next year,” he said.
Recall that in August Ukraine’s state budget deficit exceeded its revenues. This is due to the fact that Ukraine did not receive an aid grant from the United States last month.
