The average dollar exchange rate on the cash market rose to UAH 37.85, while the euro fell to UAH 41.10.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar decreased slightly in the exchange offices. At the same time, the Ukrainian currency continues to rise in price against the euro, RBC-Ukraine reports in connection with market monitoring data on Tuesday, September 5.
Thus, the average dollar rate in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks – up to UAH 37.85, while the euro exchange rate fell by another 15 kopecks – up to UAH 41.10.
In exchange offices, they buy the dollar at an average of 37.35 Hryvnia, the euro – at 40.40 Hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU since July of last year reached 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro dropped dramatically and reached 39.4977 hryvnia per euro (-0.1244 hryvnia).
Recall that a week ago, the National Bank eased restrictions on the sale of non-cash money by banks to the population. This led to a significant reduction of the dollar in the cash market.
