The average cash exchange rate of the dollar in Ukraine fell to UAH 37.80, while the euro exchange rate fell to UAH 41.25.
The hryvnia exchange rate continued its sharp growth in the currency market at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Monday, September 4.
Thus, the average dollar rate in Ukraine fell by another 20 kopecks, to UAH 37.80, while the euro exchange rate also fell by 20 kopecks, to UAH 41.25.
In exchange offices, the dollar was bought at an average of 37.30 Hryvnia, and the euro – at 40.55 Hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU since July of last year reached 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today decreased and now stands at 39.6221 hryvnia per euro (-0.1170).
Recall that a week ago, the National Bank eased restrictions on the sale of non-cash money by banks to the population. This led to a significant reduction of the dollar in the cash market.
