In anticipation of repairs, another power unit, with a capacity of 1000 MW, was decommissioned at one of the nuclear power plants.
During the current summer repair campaign, six nuclear power units were repaired. Three more are under renovation. This was announced by Energoatom on Friday, September 1.
“Six nuclear power units, five of them “thousands”, have already been connected to the network after scheduled repairs. The repairs of three others are ongoing and will be completed in the near future,” said of the report.
At the same time, it was indicated that on August 31, five days before the scheduled repair period, another power unit, with a capacity of 1000 MW, was decommissioned at one of the nuclear power plants.
The company recalled that the current repair campaign is the largest in the history of Ukraine, and Ukrainian nuclear scientists confidently demonstrate their professionalism and incompetence here.
It was previously known that the United States provided powerful generators for nuclear power plants in Ukraine. We are talking about diesel generators with a capacity of 2.2 MW.
It was also reported that Ukraine has insured all four nuclear power plants for 2 billion hryvnias. If the Russians blow up the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, the country will receive insurance compensation after the plant is liberated.
