Naftogaz Oil Trading refused to recognize the unilateral termination of the contract for managing the Glusco filling station network.
The court decided to consider the claim of Naftogaz Group on the termination by the National Agency of Ukraine for Monitoring and Management of Assets of contracts for the management of the network of filling stations of Glusco. This was announced on August 25 by the head of ARMA Elena Duma, reports Ukrinform.
“There are court applications, there is a court decision to open proceedings. This is a right given by the Constitution of Ukraine for every individual or legal entity,” he said.
According to the Duma, ARMA’s position in this conflict is balanced and legitimate. The Duma is convinced that for Naftogaz, consideration of the contract termination case in court has no prospects.
“In 2022, the Glusco network, used according to the management agreement, contained more than 223 facilities, including 89 gas stations. In fact, the network did not pay a cent to the budget in 2022 ,” said the ARMA leader. .
The Duma noted that this year the network paid UAH 1.5 million to the budget for three months. According to him, according to Naftogaz reports, only 27 out of 89 gas stations were used.
It will be recalled that on August 3, ARMA terminated the contract with Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC due to the improper management of the confiscated assets of the Glusco filling station network. The gas stations are operated under the UGO brand.
Neftegaz Oil Trading considers it illegal to terminate contracts for the management of a network of gas stations Glusco and ARMA to withdraw letters of unilateral rejection from asset management contracts. The company ensures that it has paid 109 million hryvnias of taxes to the budget from the management of Glusco filling stations for 2022.
In May 2022, the government accepted ARMA’s proposal to transfer a number of seized assets of the Glusco gas station network, in particular, more than 200 gas stations and real estate, to management under a special method. In July 2023, the ARMA Asset Management Performance Review Commission began to review the effectiveness of network management.
