The company’s machine builders have manufactured and repaired more than 500 pieces of mining equipment.
For seven months of this year, DTEK machine builders Energy produced 10 new combine harvesters and about 700 thousand spare parts and components for mines. This was announced by the company’s press service on Wednesday, July 23.
It was indicated that for a more reliable passage of the heating season in Ukraine in January-July, machine builders produced and repaired 526 units of mining equipment (MGO).
Among the main products for the needs of miners, 10 new tunneling and shearing machines, as well as more than 680 thousand spare parts and components were produced.
CEO of DTEK Energy Ildar Saleev said that all the efforts of power engineers, repairmen, miners and machine builders were directed for many months to prepare the energy system for the heating season.
“Most of the responsibilities lie with the engine builders, on which depends the adequate production rates and volume of coal production in the mines, which means the availability of fuel for the sustainable operation of Ukrainian thermal power plants, Saleev said.
Earlier, DTEK announced the amount of costs for preparing thermal power plants and mines for the upcoming winter. We are talking about billions of hryvnias.
A week ago, DTEK launched a refurbished unit at TPP with a capacity of 250 MW. This helps the power grid cover peak demands in summer.
