“We hope that more than 60% of the total volume of Ukrainian grain exports will go through Romania,” he said.
Colacu said Romania will improve its communication infrastructure for all modes of transport, as well as border crossings.
He also assured that Romania, which is one of the largest grain exporters in the EU, will balance efforts to increase the transfer of Ukrainian grains to international markets to protect local farmers.
Recall that Romania is planning to double the capacity for grain transit from Ukraine. Bucharest promises to “optimize” the use of the Sulina Canal, where Ukraine’s Danube ports are located.
