A special audit of financial activities of Kyivmiskbud covers the period 2020-2023. Its results are expected in mid-October.
EY Ukraine has started conducting a financial audit of the private joint-stock company KhK Kyivgorstroy. Interfax-Ukraine reported this in connection with the Kyiv city state administration on Friday, August 18.
“The audit has begun. From the audit companies of the so-called Big Four, Ernst & Young LLC is involved in the audit. It is not planned to attract funds to pay for the services of an independent entity of the audit from the city budget. ,” said Andrei Gudz, director of the department of communal property of the Kyiv City State Administration.
According to him, payment for the services of auditors will be made at the expense of Kyivmiskbud. At the same time, there is no information on the work of the subject of audit activity in other communal property enterprises.
A special audit of financial activities of Kyivmiskbud covers the period 2020-2023. Due to this and the amount of work, the test results are expected to be available by mid-October.
Hudz noted that the final results and conclusions of the audit will be brought to the attention of the Supervisory Board of the company, the temporary control commission of Kyiv City Council on the verification of activities of Kyivmiskbud, as well as the public.
As you know, the main shareholder of PJSC HC Kyivgorstroy is the Kyiv City Council – 80%.
Recall that on July 6, the head of Kyivmiskbud Igor Kushnir was removed from his duties. This decision was made at a joint meeting of the Supervisory Board and the board of Kyivmiskbud. It was also decided to conduct an audit of the company’s activities with the participation of one of the leading international auditing companies. Later, searches were held in Kyivmiskbud.
Earlier it became known that in May Igor Kushnir conquered Everest with his wife Oksana. At the same time, he left the territory of Ukraine with a disability certificate.
Journalists also found out that the wife of the head of Kyivmiskbud has a villa for 20 million euros on the French Riviera.
