Exchange rate expectations worsened for the second month in a row. In July, the population was waiting for an exchange rate of 39.75 UAH/USD. In June, citizens were waiting for an exchange rate of 39.66 hryvnia/dollar.
In addition, bankers in July predicted the hryvnia exchange rate for the next 12 months at the level of 40.54 hryvnia/dollar.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine may abandon the fixed hryvnia against the dollar even before the end of the war.
Remember, according to the so-called Big Mac index, the dollar in Ukraine “should” be worth about UAH 18.82, and the hryvnia itself is undervalued by 49%.
