In July, there was a sharp increase in fuel prices in Ukraine. This is confirmed by the data of the State Statistics Service, published on Monday, August 14.
So, in July, compared to June, A-92 gasoline increased in price by 14.9% – up to 47.1 Hryvnia per liter, A-95 gasoline increased in price by 7.1% – up to 49.1 Hryvnia per liter. Diesel fuel increased in price by 9.8% – up to 48.5 hryvnias per liter.
In turn, liquefied gas for cars rose in price by 6.8% – up to 23.6 Hryvnia per liter.
Recall that from July 1, VAT on fuel in the amount of 20% was restored, which was valid before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, and from March 2022 it is paid at the level of 7%. In addition, the previous excise rate began to operate.
Meanwhile, in August, the price of petroleum continued to rise. And in the Cabinet of Ministers they believe that after the return of pre-war taxes, diesel should increase in price by 8 hryvnias, and gasoline – by 11 hryvnias.
