The average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine is now UAH 37.50, while the euro exchange rate has fallen to UAH 41.55.
The hryvnia continued to grow in exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Thursday, August 10.
So, the average dollar rate in Ukraine fell by 5 kopecks – to UAH 37.50, the euro exchange rate also fell by 5 kopecks – to UAH 41.55.
In exchange offices, they buy the dollar at an average of 37.00 Hryvnia, the euro at 40.85 Hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU has not changed since July of last year – 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. On August 10, the official exchange rate of the euro increased slightly and now stands at UAH 40.1194 per euro (+0.1060 UAH).
Recall that over the past week, the NBU increased the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market – up to 460.31 million dollars.
However, in July Ukrainians sold more dollars than they bought. Net sales were $76.6 million per month.
