So, last month, the demand for new cars almost doubled compared to June 2022 – up to 5.6 thousand, which is also 9% more than in May this year.
“At the same time, effective demand for new cars is 36% behind pre-war June 2021,” the report said.
The market leadership is held by the Japanese brand Toyota – 1076 units, Renault is in second place – 682 units, the third result is again presented by Volkswagen – 470 units.
Also in the top five in June are Škoda (401 units) and BMW (319 units).
The bestseller of the month in the Ukrainian market of new passenger cars remains the compact crossover Renault Duster – 656 sales.
Ukravtoprom also clarified that 39% of the new passenger car market in June formed the 10 most popular models – the second place after Renault Duster is occupied by Toyota RAV-4 – 311 units, the third Toyota Corolla – 202 which units.
Next is the Volkswagen ID.4 – 189 units, Mazda CX5 – 167 units, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado – 149 units, Hyundai Tucson – 143 units, Škoda Octavia – 127 units, Toyota Camry – 124 units. and Škoda Karoq – 117 units.
Registration of new passenger cars in Ukraine in January-June of this year increased one and a half times compared to the same period in 2022 – up to 27 thousand units.
