The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine is now UAH 37.40, and the euro – up to UAH 41.15.
The hryvnia exchange rate decreased slightly in Ukrainian exchange offices on Wednesday, June 28. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine in connection with market monitoring data.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks – up to UAH 37.40. The euro rose by 15 kopecks – up to 41.15 hryvnia per euro. In exchange offices, they buy the dollar, on average, at 36.90 Hryvnia, the euro – at 40.45 Hryvnia.
The official NBU dollar exchange rate has not changed since July 2022 and is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro on June 28 increased by almost 10 kopecks and amounts to UAH 40.0225 per euro (+0.0987 UAH).
Recall that last week the NBU sold $428 million in the interbank foreign exchange market, slightly reducing sales from reserves compared to last week ($436 million). Since the beginning of the year, the NBU has spent about $12 billion to maintain market balance.
And now, the National Bank said that both supply and demand for foreign currency have increased in Ukraine.
