In total, since the beginning of the grain corridor on August 1, 2022, Ukraine has exported 32 million tons of agricultural products.
In the past week, 438.1 thousand tons of agro-industrial products were exported through the ports of the Odessa region, which is 33% less than the previous week. This was announced by the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business (UCAB) on Tuesday, June 20.
It is known that from June 12 to June 18, nine ships were loaded at the ports, which is four units less than last week. These ships have not yet passed the necessary inspection to continue moving and are waiting for it.
An even worse number is expected next week, as only five ships passed entry inspections last week.
Above all, in the 46th week of operation of the grain corridor, the following were exported: corn (share in the total export structure – 80%), wheat (7%) and sunflower meal (7% ). Agricultural products are sent to Asia (China, Turkey) and Europe (Spain, Italy, France).
In total, since the beginning of the grain corridor on August 1, 2022, Ukraine has exported 32 million tons of agricultural products.
Recall, on May 17, Ukraine, Turkey, the UN and Russia agreed to extend the grain agreement for another two months – until July 18. But after some time, the UN said that the grain agreement not fully functional.
It was only on June 5 that it became known that Russia had resumed the registration of ships under the grain deal.
