In some communities adjacent to the war zone, the power supply was restored more than a dozen times.
Over the past week, repair teams have resumed power supply for 58,000 families in 84 settlements of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. This was announced by DTEK on Monday, June 19.
It was noted that settlements in these regions were regularly left without electricity due to attacks by Russian aggressors. Electrical engineers in conditions of increased risk continue to operate electrical equipment.
In one week, they restored light to more than 36,000 families in the Donbass and more than 21,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“The main task of our specialists is to provide light to Ukrainians as much as possible in conditions of increased risk,” said Oleksandr Fomenko, General Director of DTEK Grids.
He added that in some communities adjacent to the war zone, electricity supply has been restored dozens of times.
As reported, in May, DTEK power engineers restored electricity to nearly 400,000 families in three regions.
Also last month, DTEK launched a new wind farm, which began operating in the Mykolaiv region.
