The NEST company is planning the reconstruction of an old building on Reitarska Street in Kyiv. The authors of the idea say that it will be a unique segment of real estate in the capital of Ukraine, which will harmoniously combine history and modernity. It is planned to rebuild the building of the former Zemsky Administration, which is more than 100 years old. According to the developer’s idea, a modern boutique business center REITER HALL will emerge from the old building.
Such objects are usually the closest attention of the public and organizations involved in the preservation of cultural heritage. The developer ensures that all legislative and urban planning requirements are taken into account during project implementation. In addition to a permit for construction work, the company has approval from the Institute of Archeology of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and the Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the KMDA. An important nuance is that the project successfully passed an international independent evaluation, the certificate of which – LEED – confirms the environmental friendliness of the construction will be received immediately after the construction is completed. Thus, all the basic guidelines of the architectural project will be followed, the company assured.
As conceived by the developer, the former Zemstvo administration building will receive at least a hundred years of new life. After all, during its reconstruction, they plan to use the latest technologies and cutting-edge materials. This combination will make it possible to integrate the architectural idea and preserve the general style of the historical monument.
The concept of REITER HALL is based on the best experience of European countries. In addition to the well-known Ukrainian architect Andrey Pashenko, the idea of the leading Swedish architectural bureau was implemented in the project.
