The size of the pension was increased for 400,000 people, the average increase was 222 Hryvnia.
From April 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine carried out a recalculation of pensions for working pensioners who received an insurance period of 24 months or less after the appointment / initial pension recalculation, but not less in two years elapsed since appointment / previous recalculation. This was reported by the PFU press service.
It was noted that the recalculation of pensions was carried out for more than 654.9 thousand people, the size of the pension was increased for 401 thousand people, the average increase was UAH 221.74.
Recalculation of pensions related to consideration of length of service after appointment/preliminary recalculation of pensions was made for 537.5 thousand people. Of these, pensions were increased by 327.2 thousand people, the average increase was UAH 179.47.
Recalculation of pensions related to consideration of length of service and salary after appointment / preliminary recalculation of pensions was carried out by 117.4 thousand people. Of these, pensions were increased by 73.8 thousand people, the average increase was UAH 409.16.
Additional costs for payment of listed pensions are approximately UAH 89 million per month.
The payment of pensions transferred from April 1 is made in June on the payment dates set for pensioners with additional payments for April and May.
Earlier it was reported that some categories of pensioners will increase their pensions in the summer – in June and July.
