Since the beginning of the year, the Guaranteed Buyer has purchased 2,923,000 MWh from green energy producers.
According to the results of May, the state enterprise Consumer warranties (Garpok) paid only 50.3% of funds to green energy enterprises, the lowest rate since the beginning of 2023. This is confirmed by data on the state enterprise website.
Thus, the level of payments for January-May was 57.6% and continued to decrease for the fifth consecutive month.
Generally, from January 1 to June 1 Consumer warranties buy 2,923,000 MWh from green energy producers. At the same time, the share of solar energy is 64%, wind generation – 18%, bioenergy – 14%, hydropower – 5%.
Recall that Ukraine plans to become a European hub for the development of “green” energy. Kyiv is interested in developing solar and wind generation, as well as hydrogen and bioenergy technologies.
It was also reported that Ukraine could export 15 GW of clean energy. This will be a major contribution to Europe’s post-war energy security system.
