Ukrgasdobycha drilled and launched a new well in eastern Ukraine, which will allow daily production of 230,000 cubic meters of gas. This was reported by Naftogaz on Monday, June 5.
“We obtained this result in a gas field discovered more than 45 years ago, which was considered unprospected for a long time. The development team of Ukrgasdobycha, using updated data interpretation techniques , discovered additional gas reserves in the gut,” the report said.
Five more new wells are planned to be drilled in the field to fully realize the identified gas production potential. In total, it is planned to receive at least 1 million cubic meters of gas per day from the facility.
Recall that in May another powerful gas well was put into operation in Ukraine – its flow rate is 580,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
And in April, Ukrgasdobycha launched a well that produces more than 460,000 cubic meters of gas per day. Then it was called the most powerful in the last two and a half years.
