Parliament has reported how much the cost of payments will increase after the increase in electricity bills.
After the increase in electricity tariffs to UAH 2.88 per kWh, the cost of payments will increase by an average of UAH 150-200. Sergei Nagornyak, a member of the parliamentary committee on energy and housing and community services, spoke about it on the air of the telethon.
“The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers is enough to increase the price of electricity for the population and remove the threshold. The threshold is removed, according to power engineers and regulators, to simplify accounting. Because when the threshold increases to 150 kW or higher, there may be some manipulations. And to eliminate them, they removed the threshold and made a single tariff for the entire population – UAH 2.88. On average, it will grow by about UAH 150-200 for the average consumer,” UNIAN reported to him.
The People’s Deputy noted that those who received subsidies will continue to receive them after the tariffs are raised.
Recall that the regulator approved two phases of tariff increases for oblenergos. In particular, tariffs will increase for the periods from June 1 to June 30, and then from July 1 to December 31 of this year.
