A batch of methanol required for extraction, preparation and transportation of natural gas is transferred by train.
The Norwegian energy company Equinor provided Ukrgasdobycha methanol with a volume of 2,000 tons, required to ensure stable gas production. This was announced on May 15 by the press service Naftogaz.
It was noted that the supply of a batch of critical raw materials requires complex logistics solutions: for the first time in the history of Ukrgasdobycha it was brought from Europe by train.
The supply of methanol is carried out with the support of the European Commission’s Emergency Response Coordination Center (ERCC) under the EU Civilian Protection Mechanism and the Task Force for Ukraine of the Energy Community Secretariat (ECS-USTF).
The company was previously reported in April Ukrgasdobycha launched two production wells simultaneously in one of the largest fields in Ukraine.
