So far, 98% of the areas predicted for spring wheat have been sown. Twelve regions have already completed sowing work on this crop, with 10 more (except for 90% of the war -damaged Luhansk region) continuing.

“We expect to reach 75% of the indicators last year,” he wrote.

Specifically, they plan to sow 4,170.2 thousand hectares of maize, 3,940.3 thousand hectares of sunflower, 1,074.6 thousand hectares of potatoes, 982.7 thousand hectares of soybeans, and 927.5 thousand hectares of spring barley.

The people’s representative also said that nearly 11.4 thousand farmers were granted loans in the amount of UAH 28.1 billion, of which 80% – more than UAH 18.6 billion under the portfolio guarantee program.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported that 80% of the planned territories have already been sown – nearly 12 million hectares of land out of 14.4 million.
