The Council of the NBU approved the regulator’s consolidated financial statements for 2022. The total revenue reached UAH 91 billion.
The National Bank of Ukraine transferred UAH 71.87 billion of revenue for 2022 to the state budget. This was announced by the press service of the regulator on Friday, April 28.
As the head of the NBU, Andriy Pyshny, noted, this is the largest amount in the history of the National Bank of the share of distribution revenues directed to the state budget.
“In a war, this is a significant contribution to strengthening our nation’s defense capability and bringing victory closer,” the message said.
The National Bank added that on April 24, the NBU Council approved the regulator’s consolidated financial statement for 2022. The income to be distributed by the National Bank amounted to UAH 91 billion. This amount, according to the law, is partly directed to the state budget, and partly to the general reserve of the National Bank.
Recall that on April 27, the NBU kept the discount rate at 25% and improved forecasts for inflation, GDP and Ukraine’s international reserves.
It also became known that the National Bank began to assess the stability of the largest banks.
