Ukraine exports electricity to Moldova and Poland. At the same time, the energy system is operating with excess generating capacity, the Ministry of Energy reported on Wednesday, April 12.

Today the energy system with a margin provides the needs of consumers throughout the country.

“In small volume, electricity is supplied to Moldova and Poland,” the ministry said.

It is also reported that restoration of network infrastructure damaged as a result of enemy fire is underway. Over the past 24 hours, electricity supply has been resumed to 14,000 subscribers in the Donetsk region.

Earlier this week it became known that electricity from Ukraine will go to two European countries. At the same time, deliveries will be carried out with the priority provision of Ukrainian consumers, Ukrenergo assured.

It was also reported that this year Ukraine intends to increase the export of electricity abroad.
