Apple computer shipments are down 40% year-to-date

Lenovo Group and Dell Technologies showed a decline of more than 30%. In HP this indicator decreased by 24.2%, and in Asustek Computer by 30.3%.

In the first quarter of 2023, shipments of personal computers from the American company Apple decreased by 40.5%. Bloomberg reported this.

Shipments of all PC manufacturers collectively fell 29% to 56.9 million units, according to the latest report from IDC, an interdisciplinary technology market research center.

It is noted that this figure is below the level of early 2019 due to the fact that the growth in demand for computers caused by remote work during the coronavirus pandemic is now fading.

Market leaders Lenovo Group and Dell Technologies showed a decline of more than 30%. In HP, this figure decreased by 24.2%, and in Asustek Computer by 30.3%.

Remember that Apple released an update to the iOS 16.4 operating system, which added many features.

It has also been reported that Apple’s headphones will replace hearing aids.
