“In the Donetsk region, the destruction of the energy infrastructure continues every day. Every day, electricity engineers have to restore the networks in the face of shelling. In just one week from April 3 to April 9 , the specialists of the distribution system operator restored electricity to 41,000 families in the Donetsk region,” the report said.
The press service of DTEK clarified that since the beginning of the full-scale war, power engineers have continued electricity supplies to 4.2 million consumers in the Donetsk region, in some houses dozens of times due to regular and prolonged shelling.
According to Alexander Fomenko, General Director of DTEK Grids, electrical engineers are doing everything possible to repair the damage as soon as possible and start work as soon as they receive permission and access to the damage site from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service.
It was previously reported that in March DTEK restored power to 190,000 consumers in the two regions.
