The cash dollar exchange rate on sale increased by 40 kopecks – up to 37.95 hryvnia per dollar. The euro also increased by 40 kopecks – up to 41.00 hryvnia per euro.
The exchange rate of the US dollar is growing for the second day in a row in the exchange offices of Ukraine. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Friday, April 7.
So, today the exchange rate of cash dollar on sale jumped by 40 kopecks – up to 37.95 Hryvnia per dollar. The euro also increased by 40 kopecks – up to 41.00 hryvnia per euro.
The average dollar exchange rate on the cash market in Ukraine is:

purchase – 37.35 UAH (37.00 – April 6)

sale – UAH 37.95 (37.55 – April 6) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

purchase – 40.30 UAH (39.90 – April 6),

sale – UAH 41.00 (40.60 – April 6) per euro.
The official fixed rate of the NBU is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro rate decreased by 10 kopecks on April 7, to UAH 39.914 per euro (-0.1012 UAH).
According to the NBU, in March the situation improved both in the non-cash and in the cash foreign exchange market of Ukraine. In the cash market in March, the rate fell by 3.4%, and the regulator sold the currency the lowest in four months.
It was also reported that according to the results of March, Ukrainians reduced the purchase of foreign currency in banks. Also, the population’s demand for non-cash money has been halved.
