Only for the state’s thermal generation needs for the last heating season, 181 thousand tons of coal were shipped.
The most severe warming period in history will end in a controlled manner, despite expectations. Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energy, said this on his Facebook page.
“Despite expectations, the worst warming period is ending in a controlled way, not least thanks to thermal generation,” he wrote.
According to Saleev, the company is intensively preparing for next winter for the second month in a row.
“Meanwhile, the first six regions are no longer heated, we can summarize this heating season… Last winter marked a great test for the employees of DTEK Energy. The company’s energy companies were attacked of the enemy 30 times. However, the last 5.5 months for DTEK Energy employees were: 7.8 billion kWh of electricity generated in the Ukrainian energy system (this volume is equivalent to the average consumption of 2.6 million families throughout the year );9 repaired power units of thermal power plants, 14 new longwalls put into operation, required to supply coal to Ukrainian thermal power plants, 9 joint works of engine manufacturers, and about 357,000 spare part and part,” he wrote.
Saleev added that 181 thousand tons of coal were sent for the needs of the state thermal generation of coal during the last heating period.
Recall, it was previously reported that DTEK commissioned the sixth coal longwall since the beginning of 2023.
DTEK has invested UAH 4 billion in coal mining by 2022
