Easter Week: Workers can deduct their expenses during these holidays, according to Sunat.

In a few days, thousands of Peruvians will pass through long vacation Easter, the date you can also make deductible expenses.

National Administration of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), independent or salaried workers with an annual income of more than 7 UIT (S/34,650) can take advantage of using these holidays to deduct income tax due the following year.

In the case of hotels and restaurants, the deduction will be 15% of the cost and must be supported by proof of payment.

Similarly, if you request a delivery service, you must also request an electronic sales receipt to accumulate deductible costs.

Deductible expenses may also arise for professional services where the discount is 30% of the expenses incurred, in the case of rent the discount is 30% of the rent, and for EsSalud it is 100% of the social security contribution.
