The Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will consider the approval of the extended financing program to Ukraine. This was reported on the Foundation’s website on Thursday, March 30.
Thus, the agenda includes “a request for an extended agreement under the extended funding mechanism and a review of the monitoring program with the participation of the Council.”
Earlier, an agreement was reached with the IMF on the working level of a new four-year program to finance Ukraine in the amount of $15.6 billion. It is then specified that the final decision must be approved by the executive board of the IMF. Its meeting on this issue is expected in the coming weeks.
In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers has already approved a memorandum with the IMF on the new program.
