This year it is very important to collect all planned taxes, warns Sergei Marchenko.
For Ukraine, the main task is to create conditions for financing the military budget, which amounts to 130 billion hryvnias per month. Such data was provided by the Minister of Finance Sergei Marchenko, reported the European Business Association (EBA) yesterday.
“Today the state budget receives 80 billion hryvnias of revenue, and 130 billion hryvnias a month are spent on the military campaign,” the report said.
At a meeting with EBA members, Marchenko recalled that last week the Verkhovna Rada supported changes to the state budget, which increased defense spending by more than 500 billion hryvnias.
According to the minister, it is important to collect the planned taxes this year, but no cardinal changes in the tax are planned.
Remember that Ukraine spends almost the entire budget on the army. At the same time, the entire social and humanitarian component is financed with the support of Western partners.
As you know, on November 3, 2022, the Rada adopted a law on the state budget for 2023. In it, revenues were provided in the amount of 1 trillion 329.3 billion, and expenses amounted to 2 trillion 580.7 billion hryvnias.
