Since the beginning of 2023, Ukrainian farmers have received loans worth UAH 20 billion, of which UAH 7.3 billion were attracted under government guarantees on a portfolio basis. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on Facebook.
“To date, more than five thousand farmers have received loans in the amount of UAH 20.149 billion, including under the program. Available loans 5-7-9 – UAH 11.54 billion,” the message said.
UAH 7.357 billion was raised under government guarantees on a portfolio basis.
The largest amount of loans was received by agrarians of Kyiv region (UAH 6.3 billion), Vinnytsia region (UAH 2.7 billion), Kirovohrad region (UAH 1.4 billion), Odessa region (UAH 1.3 billion) and Dnipropetrovsk region (1. 3 billion Hryvnia).
Recall that the sowing campaign began in 10 regions of Ukraine. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects that the total harvest of rice and leguminous crops in the 2023 season may reach 44.3 million tons against 53.1 million tons last year.
