Food prices have changed in Ukraine. In February, the prices of vegetables rose significantly, but the prices of grains, eggs and oil fell. This is confirmed by the data of the State Statistics Service.
Compared to January, onions increased in price by 31.9% to UAH 42.3/kg, carrots – by 17.8% to UAH 28.8/kg. White cabbage increased in price by 8.3% to UAH 14/kg, potatoes – by 1.8% to UAH 9.6/kg. Apples became more expensive by 5% – UAH 16.5/kg.
But cereals fell in price. Thus, buckwheat fell in price by 4.6% to UAH 65.7/kg. The price of other cereals also decreased.
Eggs fell in price by 1.9% to 62 hryvnia per dozen, oil – by 1.9% to 168 hryvnia/kg.
