Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie troubled Donald Trump’s painful post on Wednesday after he was attacked by former president and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (g) for supporting him and two current lawmakers.
“A painful comment about three Republican governors being heavily re -elected by the former president who lost to Joe Biden,” Christie wrote. “Maybe ‘R’ is really in RINO the name of the re-election”.

RINO, one of Trump’s favorite insults to conservatives who don’t support him, means “only in the name of Republicans.”

Christie, who ran for the Republican Party in 2016 and apparently 2024, has long been an ally of Trump. He highly criticized the former president for his role in inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters on January 6, 2021.
