Registrations in Ukraine of new and used electric cars in January-February doubled compared to the same period in 2022 – up to 2923 units, including 23.5% of new ones. This was reported by the Federation of the Automotive Industry of Ukraine based on data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In February, in particular, compared to the same month last year, the market doubled – up to 1575 units, which is 16.8% higher than in January of the current year.
According to the results of two months, Volkswagen holds the first place, having increased registrations 4.3 times – up to 760 units, which allows it to control 26% of the market and rise to the first line from the third, which it holds. in January-February 2022.
The second place, as well as last year, belongs to Tesla with a market share of 19.7% and an increase in registrations of 2.5 times, up to 576 cars, the third place belongs to the leader of last year Nissan (13.7% of the market. and registration increase of 27%)
It was followed by Honda (11.6% of the market) with the registration of 340 cars against 72 units. in January-February 2022 and Renault (3.9%).

At the same time, the VW id4 topped the ranking of models, pushing aside the long-term leader Nissan Leaf, whose registrations increased to 542 units. from 47 units a year earlier, and its market share reached 18.5%.
Nissan Leaf controls 13% of the market, while its registrations grew by 30%, up to 381 units. Third place went to Honda M NV with a share of 9.3% and sales growth of almost 4.2 times. Next in the ranking are three Tesla models: Model 3 (9.2%), Model Y (5.2%) and Model S (3.9%).

Registrations include the number of first registrations and registrations of electric passenger vehicles imported from abroad based on a customs certificate or customs declaration.
