The exchange rate of cash dollars and euros continues to decrease in Ukrainian exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Tuesday, March 7.
Thus, the dollar exchange rate on sale fell by another 20 kopecks – to 38.85 hryvnia per dollar. And the euro exchange rate fell by 10 kopecks – to 41.10 hryvnia per euro.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine is:

purchase – 38.35 UAH (38.45 – March 6)

sales – 38.85 UAH (39.05 – March 6) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

purchase – UAH 40.30 (40.40 – March 6),

sale – UAH 41.10 (41.20 – March 6) per euro.
The official fixed rate of the NBU is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). The euro exchange rate on March 7 was 38.9126 hryvnia per euro (+0.1078 hryvnia).
Earlier, the National Bank announced an improvement in the situation in the foreign exchange market of Ukraine. One of the reasons is the cessation of financing the state budget deficit through the issuance of the hryvnia by the NBU.
It was also reported that the NBU is reducing sales of foreign currency in the interbank market for four weeks.
