In particular, the regulator published a calendar of planned payments on external debt to non-residents in foreign currency on January 1, 2023.
Specifically, in 2023, the government, the central bank, businesses and banks must pay $13,169 million, of which $10,451 million is the principal amount of the loan, $2,718 million is interest.
So, in the first quarter, Ukraine must pay $4,134 million, in the second – $2,295 million, in the third – $3,045 million, in the fourth – $3,695 million.
Of the total amount, Ukraine must return $3,030 million to the IMF, of which $2,535 million is principal and $495 million is interest.
Recall that by the end of 2022, Ukraine’s public debt will exceed $107 billion. In November alone, its value increased by 4,340 million rubles.
