In the Mykolaiv region, a soft drink production plant of PepsiСo Ukraine has resumed work, and a large tomato producer has also started work. This was reported by the Nikolaev OVA press service.
“Two big businesses have already started working. One of them is PepsiCo, which is restoring its plant, the other business is the world leader in the export of tomatoes. Therefore, the business is not afraid either, it is working and recovering, but We want it to happen faster,” said the head of OVA Vitaly Kim.
He did not specify the name of the tomato producer. At the same time, before the Russian invasion, the largest producer of tomatoes and tomato paste in the region was the company. Agrofusion (Agrofusion, Nikolaev), which on the eve announced plans to continue the work of its three tomato processing plants in the Nikolaev and Kherson regions.
According to the head of the Nikolaev OVA, the restoration of business life in the region is hindered by a large number of territories inherited by the Russian invaders.
